30 Magnificent Facts About Aeroplane

The airplane is a modern marvel. It is the fastest mode of transportation which is used worldwide. An airplane can travel long distances in a short amount of time due to its high speed and, of course, no conjestic traffic. It has helped to bring people closer together and, in some ways, to shrink the globe.

  1. Wright brothers invented the first airplane on December 17, 1903. Wilbur and Orville Wright made four brief flights at Kitty Hawk with their first powered aircraft.
  2. After having four successful short flights, When the Wright brothers were discussing the final flight, a gust of wind flipped their plane over a couple of times and broke it.

  8. According to the US National Transportation Safety Board, airplane accidents have a 95.7% survivability rate.
  9. 69% of people in the rear of an airplane survive crashes, compared to 49% at the front.
  10. Airplanes are lightning-safe. When a lightning bolt strikes the exterior of an airplane, the electricity travels into the aluminum shell and gets out through another point of the aluminum shell.
